Date night:)

It was so nice to actually spend some time with Tom without the kids. Even though as a family we have a good time, most of it is spend trying to control the madness. We had some coupons to go to the Alamo Drafthouse. Thanks to Adri the kids were put to bed and we headed out of a late night movie. Les Miserables. What a great play and even better movie. Beautiful done. With our belly full of good pizza and cookies we enjoyed each other company and the movie. The best thing was that the entire theater was empty except for us:) thanks Tom for a wonderful night out even though I cry at the end of the movie.

MLK Day

When I woke up from a little nap after working the whole weekend, I find the boys all dressed up. They were playing Spy. So apparently Spy's now a days wear suit vest, ties, bow ties, suit jackets and button up shirts. It was too cute to see all three boys actually play nice with each and having a good time. Timmy described them the best by saying (as I took their pictures) SExY BaBy!!!
Now these are the mornings that make up for the crazy other ones:)

Papa and Grandma head home:(

We had a great time having grandma and papa here with us the past couple day. We are sad to see them leave. Timmy even said when they left "I'm going to miss them". And a even caught a little tear fall from Tyler eye. :( Even with such cold weather we still did a lot of sightseeing and exploring around here in San Antonio. It was a lot of fun. Thank you for driving all the way here to lovely San Antonio grandma and papa! You made the past couple days a blast and bearable without Tom here with us. We love you!

Saturday

So this is what Saturday are like when you don't have to work! Haha.
We had a good day. Since the sun decided to show it's self today we decided to go to the Zoo. It was still a little cold but the warmth of the sun kept us going. First it's was a ride on the train. Then on to the Zoo. A couple hours later we headed home. Although we wore Alana out and she cried the WHOLE way home, we had a good time at the zoo with grandma and grandpa. I know for a fact the kids loved it! The only thing missing was dad (Tom). Hope he is having a good time in Brasil. Which he probably is:)

A day well spent:)

Since my parents are here in San Antonio visiting us I thought it would be perfect to have some help and see all the San Antonio Catholic Missions. It was a cold day only a high of the 50's but we took the chance and started out on our adventure. Counting the Alamo there are a totally of five missions in San Antonio. Since we have all been to the Alamo (and the fact that I really hate driving downtown and paying for parking) I decided to skip the Alamo and visit the other four missions. It was a blast to see the different churches and take a step back in time.
Since we were already on that side of town we decided to take a trip to Big Lou's Pizza for dinner. It was crazy good! What a great day full of family adventure, and a little education/history. Thanks mom and dad for helping me with the kids as we ventured through the four San Antonio missions.
